This Privacy Policy explains how Waynaa ("Waynaa", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Waynaa mobile app and the website at waynaa.com (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information. When you sign in we collect your mobile phone number, and any name, email, profile photo, gender, or date of birth you choose to provide.
  • Location. With your permission, we use your device location to show nearby businesses, offers, and walking distances. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.
  • Usage data. Businesses you open, offers you view or save, coupons you redeem, and similar in-app activity, used to power features such as "trending" and your saved list.
  • Merchant information. If you register a business, we collect the business name, address, hours, images, and the coupons/offers you create.
  • Device & technical data. Basic device and diagnostic information needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use your information

  • Provide, personalise, and improve the Service.
  • Show nearby businesses and offers, and verify coupon redemptions.
  • Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • Send transactional messages (for example, login one-time codes).
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud or abuse.

3. One-time codes & authentication

We use a third-party authentication provider (Google Firebase) to send the one-time code that signs you in by phone number. Your phone number is processed by that provider for the sole purpose of delivering the code.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

  • With merchants, when you redeem a coupon at their business (the redemption is shown to that merchant).
  • With service providers who help us run the Service (hosting, authentication, messaging), bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Waynaa and its users.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

6. Your rights & choices

  • Access & update. You can view and edit your profile in the app.
  • Delete your account. You can permanently delete your account and associated personal data from within the app at any time, or by contacting us.
  • Location. You can turn location access on or off in your device settings.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by notice in the app.
